Many friends are unable to activate #ChatGPT Plus due to various restrictions, and applying for OpenAI's GPT-4 API also requires a slow queue (mine hasn't arrived yet). So here I have collected X methods that can be used for free.
Note: There is no such thing as truly free, someone is just paying for you. Therefore, the following methods have limitations, and some may become invalid quickly. New methods are updated at any time.
Method 1: poe.com provided by @quora. No registration required, you can use it directly on the web UI.
Not only can you choose GPT, but you can also choose Claude, etc.
However, due to too many users, it is now limited in speed.
Method 2: https://www.steamship.com/ introduced by @GetSteamship. Registration is required. It cannot be used out of the box. After registering, click on the GPT-4 Plugin here.
Then click on "Create a new instance" on the new page and fill in as needed.
Note! Although the tutorial by starzq eth previously mentioned modifying max_token to 32768, it is now unable to run if it exceeds 8192 after the version update. This method also consumes a large number of tokens on the web, causing the usage limit to decrease rapidly. Therefore, the default option is recommended.
If you don't know how to program, you can directly ask questions and get answers on the web. However, the speed is relatively slow.

Method 3: https://nat.dev/ developed by @natfriedman. Registration is required.
This tool can not only use GPT but also compare different models.
After completing the registration, you can choose models on the right side, and you can see that many models have been collected. Just select GPT-4.
Method 4: https://ora.sh/openai/gpt4 introduced by @oralabs_. Registration is required, and it can be used out of the box, as shown in the figure.
